Nutcracker Rehearsal

Today was our first dress rehearsal for the Nutcracker and it went so well! We have 89 kids in this production, so getting them all to do what they are supposed to do and be where they are supposed to be has been.... um... interesting! The first picture is of my 8 to 12 year old class who will be dancing the Arabian, the next is of my 6 to 8 year olds who are the Spanish dancers, the third picture is of my 4 -5 year old class, my little Oriental dumplings. The girls above are in my 3 year old class - aren't they adorable?????? This is how a mom of 6 boys gets to get into all of the girlie stuff!

Those pictures are absolutely adorable. 89 dancers? That is quite an undertaking!

The bees are so darn cute it's not even funny. They are all cute, but it was definately the bees that got me.

What a bunch of cuties! It must be really fun getting to play dress up with little girls! I missed all that since we adopted Daughter at the age on 11 and since my boys just were NOT into playing with makeup and hairdos!

Thanks for stopping by my little world earlier.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Looking at these pictures reminds me of when I went to dancing school. My mother made all of my costumes. Those are fond memories.

That is a pure genius way of getting some girly time. I have to get my girly time with my sister's three girls.
Those outfits are TOO much! So cute!

I love it! What a fun way to interact with girls. (On most days.) I'll bet it's quite a thrill to put on a production.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Boy you have your hands full...several blogs and 6 kids? And you bake cookies? I love the Nutcracker backdrop that the kids are in front of. Very cute. Did you make that too?

Kelly said...

Yes, we painted that backdrop! It came out better than I expected!
